I’m Nicole Hynes – proud Centre Director of Kip McGrath Wonthaggi for the past 11 years and Kip McGrath Warragul for the past 5. As a long-standing member of both communities, I’ve had the joy of watching local students grow in confidence, skills, and independence through our programs. I’m a registered teacher with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies and a Bachelor of Education. I’ve worked across a range of educational settings, but tutoring at Kip McGrath truly is the most rewarding teaching role I’ve ever had. Why? Because we get to make a real difference. We have the time and tools to identify where a child is struggling and the flexibility to teach in a way that helps them feel confident again. I believe that learning can only happen when a student feels safe and supported—this is the foundation of everything we do. So often, children fall behind not because they’re incapable, but because they’ve lost confidence in their own abilities.
