The Kip McGrath centre in Holdfast Bay near Glenelg is owned and operated by husband and wife team Annie and Mark Harvey. Annie is a primary school teacher who received her teaching qualification at Flinders University. In addition to her Flinders degree, Annie has attained a BA (Hons) in English and Spanish at the University of Wales. Mark and Annie both firmly believe that all children have the right to an education and can reach their full potential provided that they are supported in their learning. This belief led them to the Kip McGrath education system, designed by trained and experienced educators. Annie, Mark and their team receive extensive and ongoing training in the system, which has been continuously developed over more than 30 years and now combines the latest interactive technology with manual activities to engage children and promote active learning.
