About Us

Margaret, as Centre Manager, brings a wealth of experience in teaching from Preschool to Year 7, and has held executive postions in primary schools. Margaret holds a Master of Education and specialises in teaching Literacy and special needs children. She has many years of experience in early childhood education with training in cued articulation (an aid in teaching phonics and letter/sound recognition), and Support-a-Talker and Oral Language Programs. KMEC Palm Beach offers a School Readiness Program where Margaret utilises these skills of early childhood education and literacy development. Margaret also holds a TESOL Certificate IV, which qualifies her to teach ESL to students in Australia. KMEC Palm Beach offers an ESL program for students, where Margaret utilises her TESOL skills.

Ross is an experienced teacher in Physics, Mathematics and piano/keyboard.

INCENTIVES FOR STUDENTS

FREE MOVIE PASS EACH TERM! 

We want to reward students for their efforts, and encourage them to be regular in their attendance.

As a result, all students receive a free movie pass from us if they complete their term's tuition.

Every student also completes sections a sticker chart each lesson, as a reward for effort and attendance. When the chart is completed (after about a term's tuition, they receive a KFC certificate, thanks to our sponsors, Collins Food Groups, KFC Qld,where the student is presented with a free burger and fries at KFC.

INCENTIVES FOR PARENTS

People love to hear about a successful service. So many of our parents have been so happy with their child/children's progress, that they have informed their friends and associates about this. We decided to thank these appreciative parents, and have introduced a referral system. When satisfied parents refer a friend or asociate to us, and they enrol, a 10% discount for the term is offered to them. So parents have incentives at Kip McGrath Education Centre Palm Beach as well!

WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT EDUCATION

We sponsor a school in Tanzania, Africa. Monthly contributions from our Palm Beach Centre fees go to The School of St Jude, as seen on Australian Story on the ABC , which assist in paying for the fees of a student.

It was Ben's desire to attend the Australian Industry Trade College to complete Year 11 and 12 while also completing his apprenticeship training. He needed a good pass in Maths and English to be accepted into the college, and so attended classes each week at Kip. Ben hadn't been receiving passes in Maths or English prior to coming to Kip, but went into the exams with confidence, knowing his ability in these subjects had improved over the last term while at Kip McGrath. Ben gained 80% in English and 79% in Maths - results he had never had the joy of receiving before. He was accepted into the college, and will be entering Year 11 to achieve his dream.
